Yesterday I went to a local department store and had a quick look at the mattresses they had on offer. They had a king size ‘posture spring’ mattress with a, single sided, latex pillow top, reduced from 57,000 Baht to 40,000 Baht. A good deal, offering 17,000 Baht discount? Maybe not so good, Hugs Thailand sell a very similar mattress but with a double-sided latex pillow top for 13,900 Baht, a little over ⅓ of the price. Our top of the range ‘pocket spring’ mattress with a, double sided, latex pillow top sells for 23,500 Baht, over 40% less. I have posted about having only a single sided pillow top before. The only problem was the pillow top is on just one side.

That means you can either:

1. Alternate between having a pillow top and not.

or

2. Accept that your mattresses life will be half as long as it should be.
